So I said, “It was a jewelers in on Old Street” and name was uh like the umm the removal(?) people beginning with p. I can’t think of their name for the minute.
And umm he said “why didn’t you go in the pawnshop and get a secondhand one? They’re better. They’re better value because…”
Which they are…in those days. Better value. And it was cheaper.
So my beau turns and said “Nope I wanted to get what she wanted”.
I said, “I didn’t want it, it was you!” so I got a market over there.
yeah but um so and that was it. Pollards I think they name was. Same as the removal(?) people. Sure it was Pollard’s… Yeah."
